Course overview

Demand for people who can design software, manage infrastructure and solve technical problems continues to grow across every sector. Learning is hands-on: you will write code, configure systems and build projects you can show to employers.

The course begins with a Foundation Year that builds study skills, academic writing, numeracy and confidence. Pass it and you continue straight onto the honours degree with no need to reapply, which makes it one of the most reliable routes back into education.

Who this course is for

For logical problem-solvers who enjoy building things, including career changers who have started teaching themselves to code. The Foundation Year makes it especially suitable if you have been out of education for a while.
