Eligible home students can apply to Student Finance England for a Tuition Fee Loan, paid directly to the institution, and a Maintenance Loan to help with living costs. Repayments only start once you have finished and earn above the repayment threshold.
Students on eligible nursing, midwifery and allied health courses in England can also apply to the NHS Learning Support Fund for a non-repayable training grant of at least £5,000 a year.
