Course overview

From designing buildings to managing sites and valuing property, this subject leads to careers with strong demand and clear progression. You will combine technical knowledge, digital tools and professional practice through project-based learning.

Higher National qualifications are practical, career-focused awards assessed through assignments rather than exams. An HND is equivalent to the first two years of a degree, and many graduates go on to a one-year top-up for a full honours degree.
