Course overview

A health and social care qualification opens doors across the NHS, local councils, charities and private care providers. Teaching makes the most of your own experience of care, through case studies, reflective practice and discussion.

Higher National qualifications are practical, career-focused awards assessed through assignments rather than exams. An HND is equivalent to the first two years of a degree, and many graduates go on to a one-year top-up for a full honours degree.
