The MA Education is for teachers, trainers and education professionals who want to understand their work more deeply. You will explore learning theory, curriculum design, inclusion, assessment and leadership, and evaluate what the evidence says about effective practice.

A practitioner research project allows you to investigate a real question from your own setting, with results you can use straight away.

Entry requirements

  • A bachelor's degree (2:2 or above), or equivalent
  • Experience in an educational setting is helpful
  • International applicants: IELTS 6.5 overall or equivalent

Fees and funding

Eligible UK students can apply for a Postgraduate Master's Loan from Student Finance England. It is paid directly to you and can be used towards tuition fees and living costs.

International students pay tuition fees directly to the institution and will need to show they can meet living costs as part of the Student visa application. Some institutions offer scholarships and instalment plans, and we will tell you about any that apply.
