If you have been out of education for a while, or did not get the grades you hoped for at school, a foundation year is the most reliable way back in. The first year builds study skills, academic writing, numeracy and confidence, alongside an introduction to how businesses work.
Once you pass the foundation year, you continue automatically onto the three-year honours degree, studying marketing, finance, people management and strategy. Because you have already settled into university life, many students find they perform better in later years than they expected.
Designed for mature learners, parents returning to study and anyone without the usual entry requirements who wants a full degree.

Eligible home students can apply to Student Finance England for a Tuition Fee Loan, paid straight to the institution, and a Maintenance Loan to help with living costs. You only start repaying once you finish and earn above the repayment threshold.
