LLB (Hons) Law

A rigorous qualifying law degree covering the foundations of English law, with a strong emphasis on legal writing, argument and advocacy.

Duration
3 years full-time
Starts
January, May, September
Where
London

Course overview

The LLB gives you a thorough grounding in how the law of England and Wales is made, interpreted and applied. You will study the core areas every lawyer needs, including contract, tort, criminal, public and land law, alongside equity and trusts and the law of the European Union in its current context.

Just as important as knowing the law is being able to use it. Seminars focus on problem questions, structured legal writing and oral argument, and you will take part in moots and mock client interviews. The degree is excellent preparation for the Solicitors Qualifying Examination, for the Bar, or for any career where careful reasoning is valued.
